Trust

I trust this message reaches you!.... It struck me as I was deciding how to start this message that "trust" is an interesting word. I was going to start by saying "I trust you are all well", then thought "do I?", is 'trust' the right word.

The first definition in my dictionarry for trust is; reliance and confidence in the truth, so then I thought "How do I know the truth about whether you are well or not, so can I trust that you are?" and how can I know whether this message will reach you? I'm definitely going to trust that the truth is it will ......... Let me know if it doesn't ;o) !!!

We do a lot of trusting, we are really good at it! It might not be that apparent till we give it some thought. We trust from the minute we wake up to going to bed at night, even trust our magnificent bodies to keep functioning optimally through the night, with no conscious effort on our part, so we will wake in the morning!

I have heard people say they don't trust people or even themselves! and yet do trust people they don't know, as I do ..... I trust the person who built my house, though don't know them. I trust that when I put my feet down on my bedroom floor (three flights up!) it will hold up, even with heavy furniture on it, I trust there will be water in my taps, electricty when I put the kettle on. I trust the man who did the service on my car, the people who made my car, bet you do too.

So we could be a lot better at trusting ourselves, listening to our gut instinct, that instinctive and intuitive feeling that we are right about something, that we 'know' without really knowing, How about being aware of that today and going with it. Trust your instinct, know your truth. No one knows you better than you know yourself. Trust you, you are awesome. You know a lot more than you know you know you know, You know !
